What we do

Embrace. Empower. Educate.

One of Band-Aid for America’s main community activities is a food distribution service in partnership with the Fresh Market. Since this program started in 2017, the organization has distributed a total of $50,000 worth of food to hungry people, servicing both individuals directly as well as shelters, churches and similar outreach programs.

The organization is now developing a second program of nutrition education, to bring a targeted nutrition focus to schools and other venues where children congregate.

Band Aid for America strives to give back to the community through empowerment, engagement and education around healthy lifestyle habits, which include personal fitness training and nutrition planning services and resources.

We strive to highlight the importance of  proper nutrition,  physical activity and supporting education.  Fitness along with proper nutrition is important for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Who brought us together

Jason Holloway, Executive Director

Band Aid for America all began in February of 2017. Filled with the drive and desire to give back to his community, Jason found himself networking and forging partnerships with local grocery chains, individuals and other organizations to collect food to donate to those in the direst need.

What initially began with buying 70 lunchables and juices with $100 from his own pocket has grown into a community service and non-profit organization with a mission to reduce hunger and encourage and empower individuals and families to live healthier lifestyles.

Firmly believing in the “law of karma”, Jason found his true calling and purpose in life to help, educate, empower and help those around him rise up to be their best. Not only for themselves, but for their families and their communities.

Change begins with one person, but it takes a village to further the work  and continue the act of giving, giving often and giving wherever you can. Band Aid for America  seeks to do just that and strives to each and every day.
