Fitness Nutrition Accountability, People who eat more vegetables, fruits and drink water, paired with being physically active, as a part of an overall lifestyle, are likely to have a reduced risk of some chronic diseases, including heart disease and stroke. This is why Band Aid for America has partnered with qualified nutritionists and registered dietitians who will help on your road to a healthier lifestyle to break negative eating patterns and give your health more wealth.
Band Aid for America promotes healthy-lifestyle habits for children and adults while working to empower the surrounding community through fitness and nutrition education. Our certified personal trainers and nutritionists advocate health, nutrition and fitness that are tailored to your needs, goals and will support you along your journey to better health.
Community Empowerment and Engagement
One of Band Aid for America's main community activities is giving back to the local area through the distribution of food to those in need. Our food distribution service is in partnership with Fresh Market and was started in 2017, which has resulted in over $50,000 of food being given directly to those who need it. Giving back is how we got our start.
Servicing individuals, families and similar outreach programs, Band Aid for America is now developing a nutrition education program to children and young adults as it is imperative that our youth are empowered and informed to make decisions that can impact their long-lasting health and well-being. Our plans are meant to help you, empower you and enable you to be healthier. Similar services and offerings are available for adults.
